Neat CBS Feature for Tracking RPI
CBS and Jerry Palm have this cool new feature. Maybe it is not new, but it is new to us, anyway. In any event, you can enter in any college basketball team and see what they need to root for that day to boost their RPI. As an example, for Virginia, it lists:
Virginia Tech needs to beat North Carolina State
Game Info: 2:00 PM | TV: ESPNU
Morgan State needs to beat Savannah State
Game Info: 8:00 PM
For the ACC’s other bubble team, Maryland, it lists:
Florida State needs to beat Clemson
Game Info: 9:00 PM | TV: ESPNU
With both teams having RPIs above 64, it is plainly apparent that both teams need some help. This new tool will help fans of these teams and the ACC track exactly what will help them. Good stuff.
