Scott Shafer and Co. have hauled another prized recruit from New Jersey, Don Brosco Prep. standout Daivon Ellison.
247Sports rates Daivon as a 3 star Cornerback and had offers from Rutgers, Army and Boston College.
According to Syracuse beat writer, Stephen Bailey, Ellison is the mysterious 24th commit that Syracuse coaches referenced as a “silent commit” and is the 3rd New Jersey recruit.
Ellison, who visited SU earlier this summer, becomes the 24th member of Syracuse’s Class of 2015, including 2014 holdovers Treevon Prater and Lamar Dawson. He is the third cornerback in the class, joining Gerald Robinson and Andrew Spence, and the third New Jersey product.
